This is the first of a series of three courses on basic business concepts and the role of cost control. It reviews how the American business system operates. The trainee develops a graphical representation of the business system showing the relationship among its parts. The course also includes a review of the vital role played by profit-making in our business system, with special emphasis on control and management of cost.
