Operating cycle, and field and shop repair of thermostatic steam traps: distinguishing a thermostatic steam trap from five other types of steam traps; identification of parts of the trap, explanation of the sequence of steps in the operating cycle. The steps for repair of the trap in the field and in the shop are included. An optional repair procedure for the use of a "cage type" operating element is also included.
Prerequisites - (Course Number 88), (Course Number 91) and (Course Number 102) or equivalent knowledge of testing, installation and troubleshooting procedures for steam traps.
