8.5 hours of instruction

Format: Programmed Instruction Self-study

Price: $27.50

This course builds a practical knowledge of output error caused by zero shift, span difference and nonlinearity; teaches desired curve of output; and illustrates hysteresis error curve. The trainee will learn how to calibrate one, two and three points; how to plot output error curves; and how to adjust zero, span and linearity.

Prerequisites - Basic physics (Course Number 49); an understanding of basic mechanics; a basic knowledge of scales, percentage, and decimals (Course Number 60); and the ability to add and subtract positive and negative numbers (Course Number 82).
