Thermal insulation of equipment. Application techniques for round flat-top tanks, tanks with flat sides, and horizontal cylindrical tanks with dished heads, pumps, and ducts. Six field exercises are included in this course. The facilities and materials required for the performance of each exercise and an examiner's scoring sheet for each performance are described in detail.
Prerequisites - An understanding of thermal insulation and the ability to apply thermal insulation to pipe
fittings ( Course Number 14).
*Field exercises take an additional 25 hours.
